Accumulation tables can collect or distribute materials at the beginning, midpoint, or end of a processing line. Installed at the beginning allows operators to quickly fill the table with materials rather than feed onto a conveyor individually. The table then automatically discharges onto the conveyor in a single file line. Tables at the beginning of the line are often fitted with unscramblers attachment that pushes materials to the edge of the table where they are discharged onto the conveyor. Or, an in-feed table that allows operators to quickly place large quantities of materials at a time. Rotary accumulation tables installed in the middle allow you to deal with production bottlenecks and service issues. Mid-line accumulation tables can be fitted with upstream and downstream gates. If a machine on the line needs to be serviced, the downstream gate on the accumulation table is closed to prevent materials from flowing into the machine being serviced. Tables installed at the end line serve a critical purpose by providing an outlet for the finished product to collect in preparation for packing and prevent backing up and slowing down your entire packaging line.
